Bio’s are always the hardest part of a band info page to put together, what do we include, why should we include it… We’ll get these to you soon, but for now all we can tell you is that seven acre smile are a 3-piece band from the musical center of north Wales, Penmaenmawr. We play a variety of music at our gigs, a standard set will last around 2 hours, and will contain a mixture of popular cover versions and a load of our own stuff which will rock any venue. We are currently in the process of diversifying the set to include some of the more recent chart hits, and give some of the older stuff a break, it gets monotonous after 15 months of playing the same stuff!! Our own songs are varied in style, we have a punk song with ‘simple things’ thumping riffs in ‘she’ and even a rock Ballard?? in ‘...now...time’ come along to a gig to see us in action, or contact us to hear some of our stuff off the ‘that feeling’ CD. You want to know who we are? Here you go! Stu Dench, the daddy of the band, His knowledge of music is unbelievable, he still listens to vinyl records!!!. Stu is the singer, bassist and song-writer in 7AS, and as such he is our very own front man!! Steven White is the man with the guitar. He has the job of lead and rhythm guitarist (rather obvious as we’re a 3-piece!!) He’s been playing by himself for years, but 7AS is his chance to be seen, and he’s doing a bloody good job of it. Bob, the new boy of the band joined late in the day and is filling the job as drummer with as much grace as a sweaty pregnant rhino with rhythm!! A well gigged drummer, he will play along to anything at anytime without knowing what is going on!! |
